Yes they are penalized because of their career choice.But NASCAR does have an arrangement with some companies which help give drivers a break.Some drivers do insure thru LLoyds of London.

most people who put have dangerous jobs like race car drivers, wrestlers, boxers, and so on are penalized some what on their life insurance.

race drivers of any type have on actual car insurance for when they are on the track. off the track they are just like you and me.

they have a life insurance policy though in case they die during racing.

so when you see them wreck...thats all out of pocket money.

I think they all are allowed one free accident every 6 years just like with State Farm, but after that their rates would go way up.

Seriously, they have no insurance when racing.

Even if they did, they are making plenty of money to pay for the premiums.
