I am a female Pisces (born 2-27-1976). I read in an astrology book that Pisces females tend to have an "urge to merge," meaning that they want to somehow dissolve themselves into a person they love. I was a little shaken when I read that, because I have that trait (most often I wish I didn't, but I am what I am). How do other Pisceans deal with this? Is this a Piscean trait, and if it is, is this a female Piscean trait or can it effect both sexes?

I am Pisces (23-2-1984) and I have experienced the same thing. Sometimes I become confused and can't work out whether I love the guy or whether I want to be like him (for example, am I attracted to his confidence, or do I secretly want that confidence for myself?). I find that many of my crushes / longings for people come from "admiration" and that is what confuses me - Am I always attracted to people who display traits that I want? I don't know! I once read an article on how different signs act around people - and under Pisces it said that we will act however the others are acting - we will behave differently depending on who we are with - but that we will always adapt to the group.... and "merge" in a way. I am female but I'm sure it does affect male Pisceans as well and I'm sure I've seen them acting the same way from time to time.

ROTFLMSAO! There are many badgers who are Piscean, and vice versa. Personality traits are of a solitary nature, being rather stiff at times. They move around a lot, like to dig into places and pop up unexpectedly somewhere else. They are fierce, but look innocent and cute. They're nocturnal, and enjoy sips of an occasional beer that's been thrown out along the roadside. You can sometimes see them out at night hunting for beer cans on the edge of the road. They also like stiff stuff, so if you're missing any stiff stuff, blame the Pisces badger. Sorry the parents are divorced, but maybe it was for the best. Badger born on Wednesday should be careful of persons wearing wading boots on Sunday.

I was born 3/6/78 and to be totally honest I have no idea what I want or what I want to do,I so busy doing ever thing for everyone else I don't have time to think about these things..I am happy making sure my boyfriend is completely happy and has all that he needs. We do what he wants to do & go where he wants to go ,this is fine with me.The times that I am alone with nothing to do I fine myself taking to long to decide on what I want to do and then it is to late or something. My boyfriend is also a pisces 3/6/74 & I am the one who dissolves themself into the person I love he does not have to .

My mother is like this and it doesn't work in her favor because she has been in an abusive relationship for over 30 years. My brother (also a Pisces) has this trait but seems to manage it much better than my mother has.

It's not only a Pisces trait. I believe it is a trait that haunts all of us water signs. As a Cancer, I can tell you I'm exactly the same way. As for sex, I'm not sure. I'm a girl too.

My birthday is the day before yours! I get that too - you just want to hug them so tight you melt together. I don't think it's really anything that I have to 'deal with' - I just hug my boy tight if I want to!... Just 'embrace' it! (ha, get it? embrace/hug?) sorry, I'm tired
