it will become a pattern...tell him to get off his A $ $ and find a job or get out ! I've been there, done that and believe me....he will be out of work for the next 2 years!

He doesn't see the problem of not having sex for 5 1/2 months? Unless he's got health issues that prevent it, I'd have to have a pretty good incentive for sticking around.
You'll both end up miserable if one isn't happy in the realtionship. Try to talk to him about the problems you're having, if he's not responsive, hasta la vista.

Im sorry. do you think there is another women. I think maybe that he might be upset about lack of job, or having one of those midlife crisis's men seem to have a few times in their lives. And maybe he just doesnt want to work, and not talk about it, or have sex. All those things make life better. I would say try to talk and explain to him how you feel, or maybe he should see someone. Or skip talking all together and visit a local sex shop- spice things up! Or maybe you should get seperated for a bit? Good luck!

If he sees no problem with that scenario, that's definitely a problem. If you think there's any chance of saving your marriage, and you can persuade him to see a marriage counselor, you might want to try that before throwing in the towel. If not, I would suggest you separate. Maybe he'll appreciate what he has when it's gone and clean up his act. Then again, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Surely time for counseling. For you and then for him if he will come. Since $ may be tight with hubby with no job....try a church, where many staff members are trained in counseling.
I wouldn't just arbitrarily quit, but do look to a counselor to sort out your feelings. Hopefully he will go with you.....and you can sort thigns out with both of you.

Did you marry him "for better or worse"? If so, how does this situation fit with your committment?
It's time for you two to get professional help.
