Bingo, checkers, chess, backgammon, cribbage, pretty much any card game, etc. Any game would work fine and classic games would work best. If it's possible, ask the people you'd be playing these games with what they'd enjoy.

Scrabbles would do.
They love games that need thoughts.
Chess is not bad either.

However playing cards is universal and still the best...
Imagine how much games can be played with a pack of card.

Card gamesa re good like Rummy. What about Scrabble. Even the kids games like Clue or Yatzee would work.

Mexican Train, it's a domino game played with double twelve dominos, rules can be found on the internet. Super fun for all ages!

Are they active? If so, have them do the hokey pokey. It always was a hit in the nursing home.

Group games or individual games? Old folks love checkers, parcheesi, gin rummy, bingo, cribbage, etc...

Chicken foot! It's a domino game that is less challenging than dominoes in that you don't have to count points. You simply match your dominoes to other matching dominoes to get rid of all of yours. Whoever wins gets the points held in the other player's hands.
