I went to see "Borat" last night and I didn't find it offensive though I knew A LOT of other people would... but you know what that's their perogative just like it's Sasha Baron Cohen's to make this movie... I just hope that people in Eastern Europe don't think that's what we really think of them!
"Please, you come see my movie or I be execute!" HAHAHAHA!

lol no this is not offensive to the country of kazakhstan, because of the fact in the action picture Borat, it portrays a very distinctive place. Kazakhstan truthfully has a greater literacy value than u . s ....unhappy i comprehend...yet each and every time they asked Kazakhstan concerning the action picture, their government only mentioned "haha, no, this action picture isn't offensive to us, because of the fact we are much greater civilized and inteligent than what some stupid action picture portrays us as."

i did not find it offensive and the only people that do find it offensive are stuck up prunes. cohen is a comic genious that will never break character and that is his talent. he finds the ability to make light of even the serious of issues. that is humor people not tripping over something or farting, anyone can do that.

Not yet, because I haven't seen it. But I used to see him on "Da Ali G Show" and thought he was hilarious - and offensive, but only in the way he showed what ills exist in so much of the population.

Nope not one bit. There was one scene that was incredibly disgusting (but still funny!) but nothing offensive. As long as you know that the anti-semitism, sexism, racism, etc are purely satirical, then you shouldn't be offended.

I've seen the trailer and saw his interveiws on the various late night shows. I think that Borat is just another Yackov Smirnof, just plain stupid. Anyone can be stupid, being funny is a talent. This guy is not funny to me and I am definately NOT going to spend my money to see that stupid movie.

No. Not offensive. It's "crass" humor and not to be taken seriously.
