I am all for a nose job. However, the media makes it seems like it is equivalent to getting your ears pierced, it is not. It is still surgery, there is still anesthesia (danger of not waking up), and it still takes 6 weeks recovery. Oh yes and don't forget the task of finding a caring competent doctor.
Before you take the plung, take time to make sure you have explored all that hair and make-up can do for you. In a lot of cases the right hair color and hair-do, and the right make colors and application methods can really accomplish more than surgery ever could.
You know those women in the mall make-up counters...? Use them, they are free and they know a few tricks. For instance by applying darker foundation to your nose edges it is possible to visually create your nose job (the contrast makes it look smaller). Of course a skilled make-up artist would have to see your face to show you the best way, so don't be shy.
After you get a few opinons (and a few photos) of the 'made-over' you, then decide about the surgery. Good luck.

I think it depends on your age and maturity. Getting your nose done will not solve your problems and most people will go to focusing on another body part right after and get hooked on plastic surgery. I hated my nose growing up and my mom said if I was serious right after high school I could get it done. However the agreement was if I got it done I had to make a promise to myself no more surgerys for 5 years. Well I got my nose done and I love it and I could care less what people think, I told everyone when I did it and I am not shamed by it. I say go for it if your old enough.

I hated my nose as a teenager. I grew into it. Prominent noses are in now. They weren't when I was a kid!
When I was about 20 I thought about the same thing, I should do something about his nose.
I saw a plastic surgeon, who told me that my nose was fine, unless I had problems breathing, he thought I should leave it alone, as sometimes in the sake of a supposedly prettier nose, we lose our character, and inhibit our breathing.
Breath is life. You might be overly sensitive about your nose, as I was, it was soooo big and I kept seeing it that way, thing is no one else did!
Ask your friends and family what they think! Only they can truly see your nose.

I'm going to say I would, but I have things about me that I dislike and have thought about getting done, and haven't. Part is $$, I guess if I had an unlimited supply, you may not recognize me right now....

Nose Job surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

Doesn't sound like you have a really awful nose. If mine was really unattractive, I think I would, but if it just wasn't perfect, no.
