This is one of the most unusual questions I've ever read. It's sort of like asking what's easier, winning a marathon or a chess game. If you want to be a doctor, you'll need to take the MCAT - a 5.5 hour computer-based exam that requires knowledge of basic sciences, as well as critical reasoning and stress management skills. If you don't want a medical career, a GRE is a much better choice - it's half as long, adaptive, and does not require any knowledge of science. I've never heard of a program that would accept either test, but I'm not an admissions consultant. Double check, but if you can indeed take either, go for the GRE!

Generally the GREs are considered easier, both in material and endurance. I can't remember how long the GREs take, but it's definitely shorter than the 8 hours the old MCAT took and the 5 hours the new MCAT will take.

It depends on your particular strengths. They are not really interchangeable, by the way, as GRE is for Master's and PhD programs while the MCAT is for medical school. You should check the application requirements of the programs of interest to see which one is required.
