I am not sure what you mean by visual aid, but can you use symbols of those areas? For example, can you have a copy/statue of the Statue of Liberty or the Empire State Building or even a big apple for New York? And how about the Liberty Bell for Pennsylvania? I'm not sure what would work for Ohio. Perhaps you could take a copy of the Ohio State pennant.

You could bring in 3 "local" souvenirs - one from each state that you can use as an example of the cool things that they can experience on their trip to the state. Or use 3 picture frames and make up snapshots of each destination.
