I secretly have two newborn mice, and my friends dad is a Vet, so i know they don't have raibies, but i've allready had a close call with my mom, and she wan'ts them dead as doormats, but I realy love them, and have allready named them Skitter and Twitter and I'm spending my own money on their food. Their mom is dead, adnd if they go out into the wild they'll die, because i've been bottle feeding them and they don't know how to get food on their own. I can't leave them to die, or bear to give them away, but otherwise my mom will kill them. HELP!

P.S.S.-Said vet did tests. no rabies. Both were clean.

Here is a few more tips on how to care for them.
You are on the right track. I have tried to raise 6 baby mice and they are very hard. It is very hard to find an informational website on how to care for baby mice. If they are eating then that is a really food sign. If you have a heating pad you should put that under whatever you are keeping them in. And if you don't have one just keep them warm another way. Also you need to rub their genitals after every feeding (which needs to be every two hours for the hairless ones, 2 hours and a half for ones with hair) with a warm cloth. This will stimulate them to go to the bathroom. Once their eyes are open find a good grassy field to let them go in. They have natural instincts and they are programed into their head how to find food and make a burro. Good Luck. I hope everything works out for you. One more thing, they do need to eat during the night and while you are at work/school. If you cant do it yourself it's very important you find some one who cant mouse-sit for you.

Hey sorry to hear that. Anyway, I know a guy who couldn't take care of his iguana, so we brought it to a pet store and they took him in - now he's huge! And, if worst comes to worse, I also know a girl who couldn't take care of her hampsters and couldn't get anyone to take them, so she went right on back to the pet store she bought um from and let them go free on a shelf.... Hey - ya gotta do what ya gotta do! - Leave um on a porch of a pet store if ya really need too. Good-luck!

if they are wild mice its actually illegal to keep them..
it would be unlikely they have rabies and in anycase simply having a friends dad be a vet isnt enough to determine rabies or not (you need a 10 days rabies hold)
it is likely they have worms.. many baby animals are born with worms, especially if their mom wasnt dewormed which obviously a wild mouse wouldnt be... they will learn how to get food on their own.. they are wild animals... you can put some food out where you put them but its best to return them to the wild.. you especially dont want them breeding with each other if you keep them

Does it only come out on the full moon. Does it pull the shades and sleep in the daytime. That's not my pet. That's me.

You can call around to see if there is a wildlife rescue group that would be willing to take them. Or maybe a pet store?

Well honey if you are positive that your mom will kill them then you have the responsibility of finding them a new home. You obviously cannot keep them. Your mom WILL find out & then not only will your mice be in danger, you'll be in trouble.

respect your mom & get rid of them but ask mom if you can get something else dont shorten your blessing by being disrespectful of mom's wish. ask your dad friend if you can keep them at the vet work place & you offer to maintaine them or build them a lil house outside in the yard if you have one but if you let them loose they will fend for them self that is a gift from GOD gl

Tell her that you really want to keep them and will take care of them. You'll make sure they never leave their cage. Stand your ground.
