Usually the cheapest cuts are at any local haircut training schools. I get mine done for $3.00 each time, I'm happy.

But my wife says - The best thing about it, it looks like it too !

For whatever reason, I have a problem of not understanding about what you pay for is what you get.

The cheapest haircut you can ever get is the one your mother gives you. Second you can have a friend do it for free or for a swap. The Beauty Collge would be my next choice. Last but not least for cheap places to get a hair cut would be Pro Cuts, yep, Pro Cuts. They cut your hair and that is all. No shampoo, no style, no nothing. Just the cut and go.

Buy hair clipper kit that includes specific length combs. Attach the comb to the clipper and you can give yourself a nice 1/2" long haircut for no additional cost.

It does help to have someone trim a bit in the back and around the ears.

My hubby has not paid for haircut since we have been married!

Stay out of the mall or any place that has "salon" or "stylist" in its title. Go to an old fashioned barber shop in your town (every town has one). You'll get a basic, no frills haircut without all the bells and whistles you pay extra for in the hair salon (like washing and blow drying your hair).

Check and see if your city has a beauty college. They usually cut hair cheap there and it's supervised by a professional stylist.

Anywhere! But you get what you pay for!

Remember, your hair is the first thing a person notices about you! It's well worth the investment and research for a good stylist. We put so much $ into our nails, our makeup, our clothes, why not our hair if it is noticed before all those other things mentioned?
