Talk to your dance teacher. Broccoli is good and it has calcium. You want to make sure you get enough of that because you need strong bones to be a dancer. Don't get involved in any crazy diets and don't focus on the scale--if you dance a lot you have a lot of muscle mass and muscle weighs more than fat.

No good diet works fast. Fast working diet are bound to be yo-yo diets, i.e. you gain what you lost.
Yeah, you have to be a little careful, because you are 12. If you diet too harshly, you might affect your development as a woman.
Stay away from junk food. Forget the road to fast food places, as if they never existed. Don't eat in the evening later than 8 pm. If you have to eat in the evening, because you just came back from practice, eat something small like low-fat unsweetened yogurt or a banana. Consume most of your calories during the day, not in the evening. Don't skip meals. Keep yourself hydrated - your body can get mistaken being thursty for being hungdry. I wound't say switch over to non-fat stuff, that's a bad idea. However, stay away from food that is swimming in oil or loaded with fat. Stop drinking soda - that's tones of sugar that you don't need. If you like bubbles - mineral water is better.
Make sure to add a lot of fiber in your diet. Fiber will add a lot of volume without adding calories. That means eating a lot of vegetables like garden mix, carrots, zuccini, broccoli, bell pepper, tomatoes.

No good diet works fast. The best diet of all is eat less and eat smart. Meaning foods that give you energy, good fats that burn faster, less salt and no junk food. Eating smart does not mean starving yourself. If you dance you need energy, and you will get this trough good and healthy food, that will make you burn it faster, but will still give you nutrients to be healthy.
Sorry if i don't give you some advice on some super diet, but you are 12 and still growing and developing. If you are serious about dance, you have to be smart about food as well.
Sugar and snacks with sodium and carbs will make you tired , not enough food and starvation will make you weak and tired.
The only way is good food, good amounts ( not to much or to little) and not to much at night.
good luck

don't go on a diet, just eat healthier, stop eating any and all junk food, don't over eat and only eat when you're hungry and stop when you're not hungry. if you do feel hungry have a big glass of water first because you may only be thirsty and your body can't tell the difference. i don't now if this will work fast but it will make you healthier.
don't start starving yourself because your body will start to save every piece of fat you eat and you wont lose ANY weight at all

Stay away from junk food. Eat 5 servings of fruit and vegetables,5 servings of whole wheat grains, and 4 oz. of lean meat such as chicken, for your protein every day.Do not forget to drink at least 32 oz of water everyday. It will keep you from eating too much. When you are dehydrated, your body can mistake it for being hungry.
