Go to HP's web site and in their search engine type in the model number of your laptop. There should be something there on how to update your computers memory, if not, write them. Good Luck.

Your system support PC2700 DDR SODIMM memory. You have 2 slots which can install up to 1GB per slot. There is a installation guide in the following link.

go to www.hpshopping.com and in the search collum type in what you want and see if they can give you the instructions.
