I know it's different for everyone, but here's what worked for me. I wore myself out physically by scrubbing the bathroom from ceiling to floor. Then I ate spicy Mexican food for dinner. I went into labor that night :)

Being active can help, yes. You also might want to try going up and down the stairs (take your time and hold the rail), or marching slowly. When you raise your knees high by doing these things you can help the baby move lower into the pelvis. You might want to visit your doctor or midwife first and confirm that the baby's head is facing down first, if you don't know that already. First babies are often born after the due date. It's perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. You can also try having unprotected intercourse. The uterine contractions when you orgasm can jump start things, as can the semen, I've heard. Mostly, keep taking care of yourself, get sleep now (while you can!) and enjoy your time. It won't stay in there forever. Good luck!

Walking helped me go into labor. I would walk for at least 30 minz a day or as long as you can stand to be on your feet. With my last baby, I was at labor and delivery walking the whole entire floor, and my pains kept getting worse till I would have to stop walking and bend in half at the waist. It took about one hour. Good luck and Congrats. :)

Yes, walk, gravity will help bring the baby down
also, have someone massage your ankles. There are a lot of labor inducing areas around your ankles.
Lastly, play with your nipples. This causes contractions would could help your cervix to dialate.
Good luck!

they say that, but babies come when they come, and due dates are just best guesses. It can be as much as two more weeks before the doc will even consider inducing labor.

Sex is the best way to start labour, if your fella wont do it then just get a neighbour or friend to step in
