I didn't think being African American was a trend or just something to portray. We are a culture, a heritage just like anybody else. What is your feedback

i saw on wildin' out, these "white" people were doing the black walk or some silliness.i was like, oh my.We shouldn't be stereotyped , i know what you mean

You guys started it but I don't think it's a trend 'cause it's probably the language. Not a trend! HELLO! Your language was passed down 2 us buy u guys. Plus, acting black is a language. The point is that if we use your words and everything else u say it's language from u guys, not a trend.

"Ghetto" is a state of mind. Until Black people realize that, there will always be the term acting black. I don't think anybody started that but black people themselves. People who worry about the stereotypes never make it out of the "Ghetto". You know why? Because they have a stubborn mentality. Alot of Black people will stay in the dumps if they don't just move on and make something of their lives. The real "Uncle Tom's" are those who choose to stay "Ghetto"(assuming that they were to begin with). I'm not acting black, never did never will. I act like me. Most stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason. It bothers me that most black people love to talk about it but make no moves to change it.

Sometimes we all pick up certain words or gestures by hanging around people who have strong personality traits, like at work, etc. Is it really that bad? I don't see it as negative always. What about imitation being the best compliment. Sometimes one race finds traits in another race to be more interesting and colorful!

acting black HM,is that a good thing are bad
well being black according to some is very low
but yet there are some that are acting black
so that tells me either black is pretty damn good or but yet there are some acting white
that shows we are all created equal so they are not acting black they are simply expressing themselves

I think acting black is stupid. And who is acting black? Not anyone , that anyone would take serious. There are good black people, but your talking , I guess about some one walking around with thier pants around thier knees and talking eboniks.

because those who act like african americans are doing it because they want to fit in, due to the fact they fear afriacn americans is what i think! if u cant beat 'm join 'em!
