Maybe get a heavy flow pad and change it more often? Or even night time pads. Try a tampon with a pad.

I had the sama problem. It was especially horrible when I traveled, I could not even change my clothes! In any case, "always" pads seem to work great for me . They developed a new technology in "always", and now they have a kind of gelly inside of the pad, which prevents the leeking even more. they also have larger sizes foe heavier bleed and also even longer and larger pads for the night. They work perfectly for me.
And how about a tampon, or combining a tampon with a pad? I personally cannot use tampons when having heavy bleeding as my tummy gets spasm, but they are good when it is not so haeavy. and some women find it a perfect solution.
Oh yes, and I think that pads can be changed more often when needed.
I hope this helps

I don't think I have ever had a pad that leaked unless I wore it like all day and all night. Why don't you try wearing a tampon as well as a pad? Or use the pads that are designed for night?

You could wear a tampon, or change pads - these days it seems like they make them all with wings or leak guards, and I've never had any problems with mine.

well... they have the pads with 'wings' that help keep it in place and prevent leaks, especially on the sides

First, I use Always brand with wings.
Second, I give it a little wedge up, and take little shorter steps.
Seems to work well for me. I don't use tampons if I can ever help it because not only do you run risks for TSS but it also increases your likelyhood of yeast infections (yes it does) Never had a yeast infection in my life.

Try pads with wings. They come in all shapes, sizes, absorbencies, and now in different colors!

Pads with wings work alot better, but if you are bleeding heavily you might wanna check with your gyn. You might want to try ultra thin overnight pads too. (I know someone who has to use them instead of regulars)
