Yes,music does stir up more memories than any thing else.

Oh yes, definitely. I grew up on 70s rock. My daddy played guitar, harmonica and "fiddle". He also sang. My mother sang and played piano. My uncles would come over with a banjo and a mandolin, and guitars, and everybody did what came naturally. Later, I was married to a jazz lead guitarist. And after that I worked at a radio station. Music is a large part of me...all genres.

I'd have to say that it depends on the music, but yes - music can make some memories very strong.

Music has the ability to uplift, depress, and motivate me as it is a powerful medium. A song can take me back to a particular time and moment in my life. I have some very good memories related to songs.

They really do. Many of the rock songs I like remind me of bad girlfriend memories(Three Days Grace, Hinder, Linkin Park, etc).

Yes!
It's easy for me to drive by places and see certain things and people and not remember anything.
But music, i never forget a melody from my past.
And smells, that's a very close second.

Music is first then movies cause u tend to listen to music more then watch a movie.
