I'd say to my family, there is the reason we are no longer friends and that is why they are my EX FRIEND instead of my BEST FRIEND. The difference between friends and family? You can get new friends, your family is there no matter what, for life! So you can opt out of a friendship, but your family's duty is to you. They should tell this viscious ex friend to hit the raod before they mop up the floor with them.

With grace and class. If someone asks you about the rumors, just say that your ex appears to be very upset about your breakup. Don't trash talk him back. Your family should know you well enough to see the truth.

PUNCH HER IN THE FACE! NO LOL! More than likely she is jealous or angry with you. your family loves you and will not take her word over yours. Just tell them that she is up to something and after a while she will disappear

Pretend to be her friend so she'll stop spreading rumors. Try to be nice to her so she'll think that your still her friend.
