Quietly and very proud of my brothers who had a full Military career. Tommorrow my oldest brother will go to schools in his town with other Veterans. They will tell the stories of how they served this country, during war time. All three of my Brothers retired. One from Navy-Army and the other two from the Army . My one brother was a Secret Service Agent at the time of Vice President Spiro Agnew. He was in Demolition, then retired as a Recruiting Officer. My other Brother was a Commander of a tank battalion. and the third Brother was in Infantry . All of my Brother and families, will be thinking of the Soldiers in Iraq and paying tribute to the fallen Soldiers of all wars. Our Family is all Military and will honor this Great Country , for what it stands for and fight to keep Freedom here. We will all be thinking of and Respecting Veterans all over . Praying that the war will cease and our young Soldiers can come home safe and sound. Thinking of their families, they had to leave behind to defend American Soil . Oh by the way. We are Democrats !!

Not really sure what being a Democrat or a Republican has to do with it.

By the way, it was originally called Armistace Day, it marks the end of WWI, but I doubt you knew that. You sound like an individual that wants to thump your chest but doesn't want to know the origins of anything or the actual facts/history of why our military is where it is (or where it has been in the past)

Hate to tell you this you Moran, but if you act like one , you are one. Just as many democrats have died in wars and lost family members in wars as Republicans. Why don't you grow up and talk like you have a brain in your head.

Celebrating the day remembering why so many men and women died so that you would have the freedom to ask the most infantile and prejudiced question. It seems so shameful.

Thanked a vet...read up on military blogs to learn from their own voices what is happening...prayed for their safety.

Are you trying to find out if Democrats hate the military?
They don't, they hate seeing people die for weak reasons.
