I have the beginnings of a sinus infection, and feel like ****. Do you think it will help my case to say I couldn't sleep because my head hurt?

I have the beginnings of a sinus infection and feel like... crap. If I stay up and tell my parents I couldn't sleep...

As an added note, because I really don't feel like filtering flames, I have straight A's in all my classes, and am in all honors classed. So please don't go on ranting to me when I really don't feel good. It will only piss me off.. Sorry, had to rant that.

take some sinus meds and do your best to get some sleep. Unless you are running a fever or vomiting, you really shouldn't miss school.

that wouldnt cut it if i was your parent!!! first what medical school did you go to that made it possible for you to diagnose your illness 2nd staying awake will certainly make you feel worse, but lack of sleep will weaken your immune system thereby ensuring you get very sick. 3rd if you are complaining about this to ensure a day off school what will you do when you are really sick? and 4th a mind is a terrible thing to waste, use that brain to think of ways to better yourself instead of how to slack off
