Gotta be LBJ. He took the the Texans typical style of saying exactly whatever the hell you wanted to new heights. For example, on a diplomatic trip to the orient, he was in the men's room which was crowded with press and other dignitaries, LBJ, being a tall man to begin with really stood out. While standing in front of the urinal, one of the Asian dignitaries "checked" LBJ out, Johnson, proudly declared, "Bet you don't seem them this big over here, do ya"?

As a side note to quirky politicians, check out "Famous One Night Stands in American History" it's full of them.

Well, if what "Mr Daddy" wrote is true, then LBJ has to be the president who gets the "doh doh" award! I'd vote for JFK as the most "interesting/quirky".

Andrew Jackson was completely nuts. I don't like him, but he is quite interesting.
