If you have 800g of 10% acid water, then you have 720g water and 80g acid.
To have a 16% solution, call the total mass of the solution x.
Then 16% x is 80g.
(.16)x=80g
x=(80/.16)g=500g
The total solution is 500g; 80g acid and 420g water,
so you need to evaporate 300g of water.

800g of water @10% acid =80g of acid water.
so you want to make that 80ml in to 16%.
so if 80ml is 16% then 1% must be 5ml.
so 100% must be 500ml.
so to get to 500ml you need to get rid of 300ml.
so you need to boil off 300ml.

I'm Japanese and I can't read the peeps section. Not that it matters, really since I don't understand the question. I'm just not getting it. Sorry, bro!

Are you implying that because Japanese people are good in math, that they can all break out their abacuses and figure out your problem? Well, surprising news, not all Japanese people are good in math (myself included)! Thanks for the generalization as I run out to a sushi bar in my kimono and zori.
