Do you mean what are the factors? I don't think you mean 178! (pronounced "178 factorial") as that is a really, really large number that would break my calculator if I were to attempt to try it! (178! = 178*177*176*...*3*2*1).

I'm going to assume you mean "what are the factors of 178" , in which case you just start dividing your number by the primes (2, 3, 5, etc.) until your remainder is, itself, prime. So, let's go:

178 = 2 * 89

Now 89 is not divisible by 3 or 5 or 7 or 11 (our next primes after 2), and since 11^2 = 121 > 89, there's no other prime after 11 that would go into 89 evenly, therefore 89 itself is prime.

Therefore the factors of 178 are: 2 * 89

A very large number:

178! = 178*177*176*175*.....*3*2*1

The factorial of 178 is very very large but u cannot say that it is unsolvable. If u really want to know the answer.. login to any unix machine.. go to prompt and type "bc" (without quotes) then enter your number it will show u the answer with all digits.

No, you cannot say that because factorial 179 is larger
