"As the Stomach Churns"..it would be centered around a hospital "like General Hospital" but more like "Scrubs" ie doesn't take itself too seriously. One of the characters would be this slightly mentally off center woman who has a crush on one of the handsome young doctors, so she makes up new illnesses for herself every week so she caan go to the e.r. to see him.

I'd do a show kind of like "Friends", but it'd be centered around 20 y.o college students...you know, juggling with class, relationships with friends/parents/brothers and sisters, etc...
It seems all you see on tv is people who are 15 or 35... there's nothing in the middle, you know... [I'm not talking "One tree hill" and stuff like that here, I'm talking about real good drama, something more mature...]

This doesn't answer your question because I think a t.v. executive wouldn't create a new soap opera today...there are so many during the day already and with all the new talk shows, where would it fit in?
