"Who's to Say" Pat Green
"You Had Me From Hello" Kenny Chesney
"She's Every Woman" Garth Brooks
"Callin' Baton Rouge" Garth Brooks
"The Dance" Garth Brooks (as you can tell, anything Garth!!)
"Blue Clear Sky" George Strait

And I'm sure the I just got into my truck line is in a bunch of songs....but the first thing like that to come into my mind was

Tim Mcgraw "Grown Men Don't Cry

"I pulled into the shopping center
And saw a little boy wrapped
Around the legs of his mother
Like ice cream melting
They embraced
Years of bad decisions
Running down her face
All morning I'd been
Thinking my life's so hard
And they wore everything
They owned living in a car
I wanted to tell 'em
It would be OK
**But I just got in my suburban
And I drove away**"

Although I'm mostly a 50s and 60s rock kinda guy, I do enjoy some old Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson. Emmylou Harris is my favorite country singer. Her voice just does it for me, I could listen to her all day. There is something sexy about her voice, so sensual and so fragile, and she still looks hot as hell. Boulder to Birmingham is one of my favorites, it's about the loss of her friend Gram Parsons (of International Submarine Band, Flying Burrito Bros. and The Byrds when they went country). She sings on my favorite Dylan record, and one of my favorite Elvis Costello records. Michael Nesmith of the Monkees made some excellent country records in the 70s too. His stuff is hard to come across, but if you get a chance, pick it up.
What I like about these people is that they don't fall under your sterotype of country people singing about their dogs, trucks, and mammas. That kind of country music is crap, anything that plays on the radio today is most likely crap.

I like the song called " hicktown"....cant remeber the guys name though....The song is just about livin' the small town life. Ridin' in the back of pickup trucks, having bonfires, smokin'...lol
I also like the song called " i loved her first"..about a dad and his little girl, how he will always be the first man that loved her...a real tear jerker,, and last but not least, "remeber when"...just about how things change over time, how a young couple gets old and remebers havng little babys around the house and stuff. Thats probably my first three favs...

Alltime favorite would have to be Martina's "I ain't going nowhere"-my husband asked me to sing it to him on our wedding day,(he'd been through a cheating wife and painful divorce)- also I walked down the aisle to Leann womack's "Some things I know"...It's just how I felt!
