I've heard two games referred to as scramball. one is an arcade game and the other is a cushion ball used in a game for children where the children sit in a circle waiting for the ball to stop rolling presenting a colour. Each child has a corresponding coloured pin and who's ever matches the colour presented, grabs the ball and throws it at the other scattering kids..thus tagging them.
