I honestly wouldnt want to live that long for a couple factors... one being that everyone you are close to would be dead and gone...and two i dont think i could bare seeing this world change as much as it would in 100 years

Where did she get the facts from? Specifically which research journals from the medical field? Have the research been verified and replicated to show that it's universally true?
Even if it is true, it would likely be an average, but I fear 100 years is a tad too exagerrated unless I see the empirical evidence that can be produced. Would usually take such claims with a large pinch of salt.

That's great! I'd be thrilled to know that my daughter would have that kind of life expectancy - especially to know at an early enough stage to raise her to take really good care of herself in order to improve her quality of long all the way through.

These days harldy anyone is living that long. It seems as if cancer is spreading like wild fire. There is so much pollution in the air, preservatives in food, cattle is being shot up with all kinds of stuff to plump them up. They say that heating stuff up in plastic causes cancer, barbecuing too frequently can cause cancer due to the carcinogens when the fat hits the flames. It is all getting so crazy and confusing.

Just b/c life expectancy is that long doesn't mean quality of life is that long. I think I like where we're at right now....

my mother is 99 and is and has always been healthy..... a horribly mean person all of her life....but all 5 of us turned out to be loving caring people...... personally i don't want to live that long because i doubt i'll be able to afford it and neither will anyone else....unless there are some BIG changes in the system...

I wouldn't want to live that long. I would like to live only a few years past my retirement...which Social Security is now telling me will be almost 70 years old. I don't want to live 30 years past my retirement, worrying about money lasting, worrying about getting sick, watching friends and loved ones dying. No thanks!
