I am 26 now, but in 7th grade I did a project - my question was .."Does Hot water freeze faster than Cold water. To test in you fill up one ice tray with hot water from the tap and one from cold water from the tap, and put them in the freezer and see which one freezes first. You would assume that cold would but that isnt the case.

go to the library and get out a book on science fair projects or go to a teacher supply store for a science fair project book. Most are set up using the scientific method and blank charts/graphs you just have to fill in...one of my favorites is: which laundry detergent cleans clothes better? It'll involve you washing some identical stains in different detergents...you can take pictures of your results and ta da!! You're done. Good luck.

When I was in 7th grade I did a science project on How music affects Math skills.You test 10 people while they listen to music, then test them without any music. Some music genres you can experiment with are: country, rock, pop,rap and soul. I hope this works for you.
P.S. I got third place with this project. I used it for 8th grade too.
