I trust meiko that if human beings are chuffed then absolutely everyone only needs to butt out. yet to respond to you question, sure they do have extra stumbling blocks to conquer. some have better than others counting on the society in which they stay. for example i'm hispanic, and my husband is white, constructive we got here from 2 diverse cultures, yet i imagine that we've had it really user-friendly. sure i'm constructive that there have been individuals of his family individuals that were in disbelief that he would marry outside his race, and a similar is going for my family individuals. the single's which have a harder time is white w/black or some thing similiar. I have a cousin it fairly is 1/2 hispanic and 1/2 black. surely i think fairly undesirable because some blacks do not settle for her, and some hispanics do not settle for her. I want the global replaced right into a better position the position others were not prejudice, yet shall we face it that is truth, and in spite of the actuality that perspectives do replace further time, it does take time.

No decathlons? that's just wrong, whats wrong with a bit of mixed competition?
What?
Oops, you meant people?
If you like a shallow gene pool then by all means stick with just one group of people and live separate, the generations that follow will tell the tale.
There are almost no "pure blood" people left in the world. Explorers, settlers and conquerors have long since muddied the waters. Don't believe me? Have someone do a DNA sequence of you, you'll be surprised who's genes you have in you.
So if your mother wants to hate her ancestors, OK, but it will do no good at this point in the game.

I don't mind mixed races at all. My mother is the same way but it didn't stop me from dating other people from mix races. I'm Asian and dated a black man.

I have an aunt who feels that way, too. I've dated guys of different races and she'd felt the need to "warn me" about all the sterotypical horrible things guys of those races are/do. I say, if you love someone, then you love them for who they are, not what race they fill out on a standardized form.

You can deeply appreciate thousands of "places" but in the end, there's no place like "home." The important word here is "mother." If your mother hates your mate, life is going to be very hard.

What I feel or others feel is not important. But I will tell you this, God does not see any color or race. To God we are all the same.

i guess for me it's not an issue as long as he/she does not follow strictly to traditional rituals/customs. i feel that most of our modern generation don't follow tradition much anymore--so it's ok to mix races :)

Did you remind her that we are in the 21st century? :)
Oh ok, she is entitled to her own opinion.
But really. Who cares what colour your skin is?
It's the heart and sole of a person that matters.
