I just realized I have to send the transcripts for the classes I'm taking at a local community college to the universities I'm applying to. If they are mailed tomorrow, should that be enough time to get to the different places by the 15th? None of them have to go out of state.

That's pushing it, I have sent out things that take 3-5 days for the same state. I would call the college and ask who you can fax them to directly and then tell them that the originals are in the mail and you were just concerned they wouldn't get there on time so by faxing them at least they have some sort of copy to work with until they do get the originals. If they say no, then send them overnight mail.

You might want to bite the bullet and fed ex them overnight to make sure they get there on time.

Are you sending them yourself, or is your registrar's office sending them? Add an extra few days if the office is doing it. Some colleges want to have the registrar's seal on the unopened transcript to be sure it hasn't been tampered with, so registrar's offices will sometimes want to mail them directly. If you can, pick them up from the office sealed and then drop them in fed ex.

Can you just take them over there? Or fax them over and tell them the originals are in the mail?
