Severus Snape is the half blood prince. His mother was Eileen Prince, a witch, but his father was a muggle. Can you believe it though. We all thought Snape was a pureblood because he used to a follower of Voldemort.( And no I do not believe he is a bad guy!!!). Anyway would it not have been better for you to read the book yourself. I mean yeah it would ghave been slower but it would have been so much more enjoyable. Oh well you can still read it even though you now no though it does sort of spoil the surprise.

well obviously snape is the half blood prince cuz he's the most hated by Harry and J.K. Rowling wanted Harry to face the death eaters again and snape used to be one and he wrote all of these different spells and Harry got his book and he fell right in Snape's tap
