Test anxiety. You need to first start off by stating the main point of your paper, which should be the all around atmoshpere when taking a test and the preperations for it. You should then describe the types of problems that one may experience when studying, preparing for sed test. You might also want to include the "anxiety" one may experience while taking to test. And if you really want to stretch the paper, you could write/type the amount of anxiety that one should feel for a test based on the conditions under ehich that person lives: this could depend on the direction that a person wants to go in their life,or where they live and the level of the standards there. (i.e. comparing the standsrds of the US and China: completely different. The Chinese person would have to feel mush greater anxiety than the American)
But I like to trail off. Have fun!!!!!

You could start out with- "The fact that this essay has to be 1,000 words gives me test anxiety." :)
You could go into the components of test anxiety- the mental strain, the worrying, the thinking of inadequate thoughts ("Geez, I'll NEVER be able to pass THIS test!"), the pressure to succeed.
If you have an over-anxious friend, use them as an example. OR, if there is someone in your class who always gets freaked out on test day, but always ends up with A's, use them. BUT, the best essays are always written from personal experience.

Some general ideas....
-The new craze over standardized testing has been the cause of much anxiety in the average classroom.
-Pressure to do well on these exams filters down from the president, and comes crashing down on the heads of our hapless teachers.
-Preparation for these types of tests now occupies more than half of the time in the classroom, which would typically be put to better use. Instead of teaching, educators are condemned to "teach to the test", and suffer through countless hours of a, b, c, d, and e.
-Children are intimidated by this, and, often, whether they pass a grade or not will be determined by their grade on one particular test, on one particular day.
-These tests don't even measure aptitude or intelligence, only test-taking skills.
-When the children do not do well, their perfomance is reflected on their teachers, who are therefore frowned upon by the principal, and so on. A bad mark on a test is a bad mark for everyone.
-When standardized test scores drop, the government completely remodles education in that particular country, adding more and more tests and placing more and more pressure on the poor students.
Hope this helps!

Start with a narrative illustration. This can be a personal story about test anxiety - if you have never had it, find someone who has. Talk about the causes and the remedies for it, back it up with some research. Rewrite your anecdote using the methods stated and the new outcome.( and make sure you use parethetical citation as well as listing your references at the end of the paper. )

you could start by stating that you needed to post a request for suggestions on a Q&A website to get you started.
