There is an answer to this question. Some people are probably not old enough and may need to do some research to find the answer. Eisnehower is close, but not the most recent. Nixon, Reagan, Clinton and Bush are all incorrect.

I think it was probably Eisenhower taking blame for the U2 incident. Can't remember anything since then.

Just about the twelfth of never, until they it has been proved beyond a shadow of a doubt. Then they are all over the place apologizing for their ''crimes". Nixon, Reagan, Clinton, and now Bush will not ever admit to any wrong doing.

They aren't ever allowed when they are in office to admit they are at fault for anything. Notice how Clinton is admiting to everything he did wrong now....I miss Clinton he was the shizz man
You guys would be better off if Clinton could have stayed president for at least 12 years....two four year terms for a president that doesn't want to take over the rest of the world just isn't enough

i would say never but i think clinton did say he smoked a joint but never inhaled and also he did admit to monica blewinski what about tricky dick nixon he took the blame the darn hard way lol

U.S. Grant actually claimed alot of the blame for the scandal in his cabinet, even though it really wasn't his fault.

Well, it took several million dollars, but Bubba finally admitted he got a Blw Jb from that Woman!!...He did take responsibility, but he was forced into it...BTW, If your wife was suspicious, wouldn't you lie about it too???

I dont remember it but have heard that Reagan apologized for the Iran Contra thing.
