it would be best to make as much use as possible of the powers the president has
i would like to think i would have justice on my mind and give pardons to many people who were convicted of federal crimes due to shaky evidence or had been given very harsh sentences
i would make as many appointments as possible to federal courts vacancies and hope they were quickly confirmed
i would quickly try to make some improvements in foreign policy
first of all i would sincerely and unconditionally apologize to the world and to many nations individually for the horrors inflicted by american foreign policy
i would visit palestine lebanon iraq and iran and try my best to encourage peace and reconciliation
i would order the troops in the middle east to come home and i would assign many of them to the border with mexico

Declare Martial Law and have all the Republicans and Democrats and other parties members locked up. Then I would arrange boxing matches with each member of the other parties and the winner would stay in prison and the loser would go back to being a politician with a better understanding of what the little guy feels like.

The president isn't a king. Congress sends bills to the President, all the President does is sign 'em or veto 'em.
The government will get absolutely nothing done for the next two years.
This is a good thing.

I would bite the loss and pull our troops out of Iraq. i would help third world countries and starving people of the world. I would push for more funds to go into Aids and cancer research (I believe there is a cure already). I will do a lot for mankind and not just for politics. I love peace and with me, peace will reign....

Sorry but this is a very silly question. There is not much you could do except talk something up. Our government takes years to sort crap out. It took almost two years to even get the constitution ratified. Talk a lot and get a lot of pictures taken. Definitely lame duck.

Fire Bush. Then I would redecorate. Then I would have a HUGE party. I would fire people and hire new people. I would sleep in every room. Lock the oval office because bad things happen there. I would have a time of my life, but then again, that is why they do not vote for me to be the president. What would you do?

I think I would order a lifetime supply of jelly beans and teach the world to sing in perfect harmony...unless they can't sing, and then I would buy them a percussion instrument.

let everyone that makes under 50,000 keep all federal taxes that would have been paid to the government....... that would be most low-middle income people like myself...LOL
Then I would say screw it and nuke N.Korea & Iran to get it over with.
