I've now met 2 men who wear 2 undershirts at the same time. An A-frame and a crew or v-neck. They say it's for layering in the winter. I've never heard of such a thing. Is this common?

I think guys wear an A shirt under a white crew neck undershirt because they like how it feels and think it looks cool. I don't wear them together. I do wear an A type under a T shirt but it is more of an outer- wear T shirt than a snug white undershirt so it is a little more moderate looking. If you are young and skinny and can pull off the look, do it! , if you are not really good looking it's gonna look pretty silly.

Hmm...that's a new one for me. Sounds like it might be a good idea for winter, but during the rest of the year? Different styles of undershirts, esp? I've heard of girls wearing 2 guy-style tanks during the summer, but not guys!

I wear 2 shirts sometimes if I wear a wife beater then I wear a black tank top under it or something. Or if I have my see through pink tank top on I wear a black top under it but I am a girl and the way that I wear too layers makes sence I dunno about them.
