I am doing a report for class and I would like to add as many opinions as i can. So please just take time to tell me how you feel. It will really help me out. For ex. some think people like watching scary movies because as long as they are in their homes, the "know" they are safe...what do you think?

It is much easier for me to watch a scary movie in the daylight. Then I can do laundry afterwards or take a walk....you know, to get rid of my jangled nerves. At night, it causes me too much stress. When I was a kid, monster films were make-believe situations....The Blob,Creature From The Black Lagoon....now a days they are about psychopathic killers....tooooooo scary for this lady.

I like watching scary movies because in my small town nothing ever happens so I know I'm safe, it's pure fun to scare the crap out of myself or my friends and I've always had a fasination with scary things since I was 7. Plus, who doesn't like a good scary movie?

i tend to watch a lot of scary movies and shows where they are searching for ghosts and what not. i have always been into scary things. i think i like watching scary movies to see the situations that people are put through. i guess its entertaining to see people go through something scary that we might never go through and see how they handle it even if sometimes it is really annoying that the do the dumbest things.

I am a huge HUGE fan of scary movies! It depends on what you mean by "scary", though. If it's ghosts and zombies and vampires, etc., I love it. You know it's not real, and it's an adrenaline rush. I DON'T like real-life scary, though. I don't want to see anything about a nuclear war. I don't want to see anything about children dying. If it can really happen, it stresses me out and I don't sleep.

I think People prefer watching scary movies with a date or significant other. special when your young and dating and she Jumps! but yet She knows she is safe there with you :-)
or could be the other way around where he's scared chitless but she is there to protect him! lmao :p

Because after i watch 'em i get to say to the ppl who dont dare watch it, Hey i watched it! It was not at all scary even if it freaked me out sooo much.lol
Also cause i like the excitement and thrill when watching it!!

It's a thrill knowing you're safe and it's only a movie.
I like the excitment from not knowing what's gonna happen next.
