Rob Hall and Scott Fischer were highly skilled an acomplished montain climbers. Yet, in terms of their leadership skills, they left much to be desired. In your estimation,Why did the two fail when it came to succesfull leading their expeditions/clients up and down Mt. Everest?

If I remember right, They were being paid to take some people up the mountain. They made some bad decisions not to turn around when they were close to the peak- because their clients really wanted to get to the peak. Then the storm hit and it was much bigger than expected.They tried to help the clients and that slowed them down.
