Hi there...
There can be a lot of different causes for this.
1) A problem between the phone itself and the cell site (more specifically, the phone does not respond to the page request, or it does and there is some problem when the phone and site negotiates which incoming channels to use for the call).
2) If the phone is outside of it's home area, a problem between the home and roaming system.
3) A problem with the connection between your home system and the landline telephone company.
Regardless of the problem, a call to customer care with your wireless carrier should let you know where the issue is at.
Hope this helps!

sometimes your phone could go into an "airport" mode. where it doesn't ring. so i would call your provider to get that changed.
