Hate serves a purpose....it keeps you from involving yourself with toxic and dangerous people. It stops you eating rotten food. It makes you get up and work for a roof over your head so you don't freeze. Of course some hatred is misplaced. Who is to say who has the right opinion or way about them that we should all conform to. (It may be a way you don't like especially strongly)

"Allowed to hate." As if you could forbid an emotion. If one could be "allowed to hate," could another be forbid to hate?
Would you kindly elaborate on your understanding of the connection between emotions and opinions? If you allow differing opinions, are you encouraging or discouraging hate? Hullo? Might you write a few more details in as many comment boxes as you need to clarify this?

Any one is allowed to hate. It's how they act on that hate that can be a problem. Some people have legitimate reasons why they hate.

I would rather die in the madness of love than live in the logic of a justified hate. (But then I talk tough.)
"Hate never yet dispelled hate. Only love dispells hate. This is the law, ancient and inexhaustible."

God said; Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
In the Lord's prayer it says "Father forgive me as I forgive others."
