i think the most calming color for me is cerulean
it is the color of a swimming pool in the sunshine!

~ Blue ~ but not to dark blue, because thats depressing, to light would be stimulating, so a nice medium blue. I have my bedroom painted in a color called Mountainside Blue, and its very calming, its kind of a bluish/ gray.

I find cerulean too stimulating... as for calming I would pick olive green or brown. Not that it's boring, it's just a relaxing colour.
