I'm stuck on this one...
simplify by combining like terms:
5sqrt8 + 2sqrt18

5√8 = 5x√(4x2) = 5x2√2 = 10√2

2√18 = 2x√(9x2) = 2x3√2 = 6√2

Now you can add the like terms to get 16√2.

look at each square root and see if you can rewrite it:

√8 = √(2*2*2) = 2 √2
√18 = √(2*3*3) = 3 √2

So, 5√8 + 2√18 =
5*2√2 + 2*3√2 =
10√2 + 6√2 =
16√2

first is 5+2=7 then the terms sqrt8+sqrt18=7sqrt and the 8 and 18 is it to the power of or then you add them
