Take off everything, put on a bow, lay under the tree.
Bring beer.
Or skip the beer, either way.

Oh I do sympathise with you, my hubby is just as bad, most things he wants he just goes & buys .... anyway, without knowing anything about your fella, a few suggestions ....
- Grand Prix/Nascar racing experience
- If he likes flash cars check out Porsche/Ferarri sites for merchandise etc
- Custom silver cufflinks ie initials of nickname/hobby ie cars/musical instruments etc
- Hermes tie
- Engraved silver money clip, tie clip, keyring
- Autograph of someone he admires (nicely framed)
- Artwork of his favourite photo/image/album cover etc, they can put anything on a canvas these days
- Noise reducing headphones or anything you can afford made by Bose or Bang & Olufsen
- T-shirt printed with an 'inside joke' between the two of you
- Learn how to do a massage & buy some aromatherapy oils
if all else fails buy some new lingerie & wrap yourself up in a bow !!!
I know some of these aren't that unusual or personal but I'm at my wits end too, if you find any winners please share !!! Good luck :) !!!

I am a male BTW.
I think what i would appreciate is the thought, but the thought must be thoughtful. Not something my girl friend would want me to have but something my girl friend knows that i want to have.
OK letter and poems and things you made your self are thoughtful. But believe me men will not jump with joy!
OK i will tell you what would make me happy that i can buy my self but would appreciate it if my girl friend did.
Gadgets, (collectibles) like pens/lighters/watches/books
Clothes (vintage) like 50's Levi's jeans, flying bomber jackets
I like Heavy crystal cognac glasses.
My girl friend knows what i like and that is what i appreciate.
Good luck with your shopping and merry Xmas

Do NOT make him anything, girls think its romantic, shows you care etc guys think 'what the hell am I gonna do with that?', we are not fussed about things being special and or unique. More is it fun, cool, sexy (for you not him). Without knowing any of his interests its hard but how about a helicopter lesson, or a day learning how to rally drive. something unique experience wise rather than an object is better

We know nothing about him, so it's hard to decide. I would take him somewhere unusual instead of buying him something. Just think to yourself, "Where have we never even thought of going?"

Write a poem with a childish humor to it, like that of Jack Prelutsky or Shel Silverstein.

Perhaps he could donate his pressie money to 'Shelter' for the homeless charity, seeing as your boyfriend has everything. A lot of the homeless are sleeping in cardboard boxes and have nothing.

make him something. it means more. i guess you could say that's "unusual"...
scrapbook...write a poem/song...t-shirt maybe?
johnny be good-
if they really love each other, making something is perfectly fine. if the guys a complete jackass then he won't care. but some guys actually like it when they receive something made. my boyfriend did...

i say buy him a weekend getaway (with you) and do all the things he wants to do for once....
On my boyfriend's last b-day, i gave him my heart and told him to take care of it as it's fragile :o)
Good luck!

It does not matter what he has, what matters is what YOU give to him & he should appreciate it whatever it may be!!!
Anything that you think he might like, not necessarily might need. You must know what kinda stuff he likes... Good luck
