All the time....I am hopelessly nostalgic and think about how certain special people from my past remember me. I try not to dwell on it too much, because many of my memories are bittersweet, but at least I know that mine are ultimately happy ones themselves, on this end :)

Always, I wrote a poem about that once:

If I could bury your memory so deep
where the sandbar meets the ocean
I can lie still along the waves
and dream of you and me
you're the other half of my innocence
staring into empty space where my world becomes your memory

Well, if I could remember them in the first place, I would be able to think of them - so I'd have to say No. My memories are so full of holes they're worse than swiss cheese. If my memories had the secret of the universal panacea, it'd be like trying to find a chicken with teeth.

I blame my sleep apnea (sleep apnea is when a person stops breathing in their sleep, thus reducing the amount of oxygen that reaches the brain, causing temporary to permanent brain damage).

I didn't know you could have another half of your memories. How does that work?

I'm not sure what you mean by the other half of my memories... is that what really happened? or is it my perception of it... oh hell, I dunno...
My memories just pop in occasionally, like bubbles, float through my mind, and pop... they don't stay for very long (I don't like dwelling on thoughts too much) but they make me a bit happier... :-)

Well, the other half is the half that I try not to think about, although I don't seem to have much control over it
