In my home, dust from traffic especially being close to the street....in a townhouse.....and lots of cat hair!!! from Fuzzy & Toby M.

When I lived in the courtry, I had very little dust and the 1 cat loved to go outside.

If you're referring to house dust, it's mainly composed of tiny fabric strands from our clothes and and other fabrics.

Dust is just a powder form of whatever is in the room. It can come from the ceiling, the air vents, or off of clothing.

Depends where you are. in the home I think it is mostly dead skin from the occupants.
