My girlfriends last period was October 15, 2006. She and I had unprotected sex on the 25, 28, and 31 of October. Also on the 4 of Novemer. She is on no kind of birthcontrol. Her period was due on November 9. But still hasn't come, she said sometimes she is on a 28 day cycle, which would mean it was due today, although still nothing. She has been complaining of nausea, headaches, cramping (a week ago), lower back aches, and seems to be constantly tired. She took a pregnancy test on November 9, but it came out negative. I am wondering what are the chances she may have took it too early, or if it was a "false" negative. I'm only 18, I don't know how all this works. Please bear with me. Any advice would be appreciated.

I would start worrying for sure around the end of November..Take another test or to be more accurate go to the doctors office. There are many options so there is no need to worry because if your girlfriend is pregnant it is not good to make her worry...

Yes, yesterday would have been day 28, but it STILL may be too early to tell. Her cycle may sometimes be 28, but if her cycle isn't perfectly regular, she still might not even be late yet.
If she still doesn't get it in a few days, test again. The fertile days in a woman's cycle vary from woman to woman, depending on the length of the cycle, etc, but it is usually somewhere 10-15 days into her cycle, which is actually when you two had unprotected sex. So, her being pregnant is a definite possibility.
Even though you've taken tests, and they've been negative, it might have been too soon. Keep testing, and if she still doesn't get her period, and the test is negative, have her call her doctor.
I don't want to give you a speech, but obviously, and I'm sure you know this, if you don't want to get pregnant don't have sex, especially unprotected sex.
And if she is pregnant, I feel good about you two handling this situation. You've already taken the initiative to gather information about what might be happening, rather than shunning responsibility.
And please, don't have her get an abortion (though I am pro-choice). Many people would love to adopt that child.

Well you all definitley timed it right. She would have been ovulating around the 28th, so just tell her to wait a couple of more days and try again. Sometimes it takes longer for some. Or maybe she needs to go to the doctor to get a blood test done. They are very accurate.

Lighten up fella... Best thing for her to do is to make an appt with her OB/GYN and let them examine her.. They can also do a HCG test that will tell them what her Estrogen/Progestrone Hormone levels are and will be able to give her more information on the possiblity of a pregnancy... You know guys it's really important to use protection for both your sakes unless you guys are trying to get pregnant. Lots sexual diseases out there that can KILL ya.... Be careful and good luck either way

She could be pregnant and tested too early or she could be delaying her cycle by stressing. You timed sex right around ovulation so the chances of pregnancy are extremely high.
If her period doesn't show, she should try testing every other day with the first pee of the morning. Walmart brand tests are actually pretty sensitive and reliable.

ok weel it mightbe too soon if your that concerned, go to a doctor and ask for a ablood test. that is much more reliable. if you willing to wait 3-4 more days than its probably safe to take one then. it sounds like she maybe, with all the signs and symptoms she is experiencing. good luck and get her to a doc and most of all be there for her.

take a test a week and find out for sure. At this point all evidence is pointing towards pregnancy but it's still early.

Well if she really is pregnant the test should come up positive at least 4 days before her period is due-so she more then likely is not pregnant-just a little late.tests are 99% accurate
