I know there are some notable players in the past that recorded quadruple doubles, but not quintuple. I believe one of them was David Robinson back then.

In fact, I don't think that there's a single player who got at least 10 (to make it double digits) in all five categories since it's uncommon for even NBA superstars to record 10 blocks and 10 steals

Go PHILADELPHIA 76ERS!!!

It has probably happened, but has never happened officially...

Wilt Chamberlain most likely had a few quintuple doubles during his career... he got a lot of steals and blocked shots before these became official NBA stats one year after he retired from basketball.

There have only been four "official" quadruple doubles in NBA history:

* Nate Thurmond, October 18, 1974, Chicago vs. Atlanta; 22 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists, 12 blocks.
* Alvin Robertson, February 18, 1986, San Antonio vs. Phoenix; 20 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 steals.
* Hakeem Olajuwon, March 29, 1990, Houston vs. Milwaukee; 18 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists, 11 blocks.
* David Robinson, February 17, 1994, San Antonio vs. Detroit; 34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 blocks.

Once, Jason Kidd had a triple double (points, rebounds and assists) and also had 10 turnovers.

Chamberlain and Russell would have undoubtedly be the all time leaders in triple and quadruple doubles had blocked shots been an official NBA stat during their careers... Sportswriters and team statisticians often kept track of Chamberlain and Russell's blocked shots during a game for newspaper reporting purposes, but the league itself does not recognize these as official totals. They routinely would report that Wilt and Russell often blocked 10 to 12 shots per game.

Chamberlain holds the record for most consecutive games with a triple double...he recorded triple doubles in 9 consecutive games in 1968.

Wilt had a 58 point, 42 rebound game, along with a 78 point, 43 rebound game, making him the only player to ever have 40 or more totals in two different categories in the same game.

possible but close to impossible. although I think the only player who had a big possibility of doing it was Oscar Robertson. I mean, the guy averaged a triple double for an entire season... that speaks a lot of what he could possibly do.
