Probably 'Nothing Compares 2 You' written by Prince and sung by Sinead O'Connor.

I agree with the other answers...Sinead O'Connor is a great great singer..but back in the "80's" she made a controversial statement or something on SNL. ala Dixie Chix..and her career was never the same. Prince wrote this for her and from what I understand he is on the trak also. Check out some of her tunes from those times. You'll c, she has an awesome voice.
