Cinnamon is okay.. foods you cant eat are Tuna because of the mercury in it,

You Should Avoid Hot Dogs and lightly cooked eggs
Avoid raw or undercooked meats such as parma ham or rare steak and unwashed vegetables or salads, which carry a higher risk of toxoplasmosis. My doctor informed me that these particular foods can carry and cause a parasitic illness that often shows no symptoms but can sometimes cause birth defects.

I've never heard that or been told by anyone not to have cinnamon. I know some artificial sweeteners are bad for the baby. Never heard of cinnamon though and I'm almost 38 weeks pregnant.

I havent heard of that one. I eat cinnamon on certain foods sometimes and I have never had a problem. I just know you cant eat deli meats or soft cheeses because of Listeria and certain kinds of seafood because of the amount of Mercury in it.

My OB had never said anything to me about cinnamon being unsafe. I ate it during my pregnancy and was fine. I was only told to avoid raw meat and eggs.

It should actually be helpful. A teaspoon of cinnamon added to your hot cereal will actually help regulate your blood sugar level.

I've never heard of that. I don't know if I ate it during my pregnancy. If there is a risk of contractions it's probably later in pregnacy. Only way to be sure; see your doctor.
