Is the govt. focusing on the war on Iraq and immigration to keep American's mind away from the economy??

No way! But, if that were true, I think it's working quite well, don't you?

I don't believe so. Focusing on immigration would actually focus on the economy. When immigrants enter the US, they [generally speaking] need to find a job to pay for things. More employees usually equals more cash flow or more products being produced, which help our economy. The war can go either way. Sending our soldiers away leaves a lot of jobs open that need to be filled. Once our soldiers return home, depending on the circumstances, will find more work. This will help our economy the same way immigrants do.

Everything the government does is to keep our minds off the economy, even when they talk about the economy, they never mention that they allow bankers to print money without anything to back it, and it's loaned to the government who takes our tax money to pay the money back with interest!

If enough people were as mad about this as me, there would be thousands of treason hearings tomorrow, followed by hundreds of Constitutional hangings the day after.
