Why on earth would you want to get circumcised? If you are having pain or medical problems, there are ways to fix them that are less drastic than circumcision. If it's because you feel weird or girl's you've met don't like it, forget that! There are circumcised men who've spent years restoring their foreskin, they'd kill to have what you have! As for women who think it's "gross", toss their shallow butts out the door. Any woman who would reject a man because of his foreskin status is a *****, plain and simple.
My husband was circumcised as a baby, and he doesn't have a lot of sensation. It's hard for him to achieve orgasm, and when he does, it's over quick. He is looking into foreskin restoration. I wish he hadn't been circumcised, so he wouldn't have to go through this.

They give an adult a local to numb the area so no pain is felt during the surgery. After the surgery is another matter even with pain pills it will be very tender to painful for about a week. After that it will be very sensitive for about a month. Then it will keep getting less and less sensitive as time goes by. In a few years all you will be able to feel is the caress of dry cloth, the friction of your clothing. A woman’s vagina is not made of dry cloth, get the picture?
Matt, Sonny Boy! you are not yet dry behind the ears! In fact your circumcision hasn't even fully dried yet! Give it a few years, (unless you plan to retire your sex life when you hit 40),you will notice the loss. The nerves naturally begin to loose their sensitivity as we age. By the time you are in your late twenties they are already beginning to degrade. Ever notice that 40 year olds want brighter lights for reading? Every nerve in the body looses its efficiency, including the ones in your penis. You will miss the 240 feet of nerves and 20,000 specialized nerve endings that you lost when you were circumcised. Add to that the damage to the surface of your glans. The tactile sense will be gone, leaving only the deep pressure sense and pain sensations. Yea I know, when I was 23 I thought I could cut glass with my tool too!
bobobrown: Ever get your glans caught in your zipper? (IT HAPPENS)That will make you wish you had a foreskin!
brainfrey: It sounds like you are describing my life except that I was mutilated at the age of 6. I sure know what your husband has been going through. I am also considering restoration but in the meantime I have been using a protective sheath, please see http://senslip.com/. The effect has been awesome. It has proven to me just how much I lost by being circumcised. After a month of wearing it under my clothing the sensitivity has improved, and the orgasms…. now I actually roar, and my wife of 30 years giggles at me. But I have to wear a plastic thing on my penis...grrrr. Attempts at restoration will not replace a foreskin, it is gone forever; but one may get his glans covered and protected again for some benefit.
Now back to the question. Do you still think getting circumcised might be a good idea? If so, don't say nobody tried to warn you. Go for it and try not to look back, because you can't go back anyway.

It depends if they give you anything.. other than that i dont know. Maybe google it or something. If they give you somethin, no. If not, then i would think so.Why do you want to get circumsized? Unless you are having problems with being uncircumsized I would not risk going through this. For an adult it is painful for few days but the risk of infection and other things is not worth it. Learn to accept what god gave you and be glad you still have it all.

The pain varies from person to person. But do you understand that this is permanent? - it really cannot be reversed. You will lose many, many nerve endings that can never be put back. Sex will be less pleasurable for you AND for your partner - for life. You will never be a whole man again. Be very, very sure that the superficial "cool" look is worth all that you will be sacrificing.

I had mine done with marcaine & lidocaine together - this numbed my prick for hours & hours well past midnight & I felt no Pain as such.
for next 3 weeks I was sore & swollen but not in any real pain. the n my body absorbed the sutures and they vanished, leaving me with a net, clean, trimmed, cut penis.
Sure it's worth it - I only regret I waited till so long to do it & enjoy my new look. It's more modern, very handsome looking, neat, sleek, & it give the prick a very defined look, more like a tool which women will respect. It emphasizes the glans which gets somewhat wider & rounder & fuller and gives that beautiful Mushroom look. And everyone loves a big fat mushroom head on a prick.
It's very low-maintenance & easy to keep clean. No more urine dribbling into the foreskin, no more sweaty foreskin & smells of stale fish & smegma. it's super looking & a cool style for guys to have.
If I have but one life to live - then let me live it circumcised.
Go for it &have no fear or hesitation. It's really very stylish & trendy. So do it.

It's not painful and it's well worth the minor discomfort which is all you will experience when you have your circumcision. Afterwards you'll benefit from better hygiene, comfort, and appearance and sex will be FAR better for you and your partner. Just do it!

Hiya again Kyle
I just answered your other question...
YES, it's worth any pain...
Looking quickly at my own cut dick just now - I'm just in a 'T' shirt 'cos I got up from bed to have a quick cuppa and cigarette and decided to check my e.-mail - and I think it's just cool.
Regards,
Nick
