You say it is someone you think you are going to have sex with and not someone that you love. Relationships with age differences can work, but they are more difficult to make work and require a loving relationship. Since you didn't mention love, I don't think he is too old, I think you are too young.

According to common sense it might be...but is is a taste, which I share as well. I like older guys too. It is up to you. If you think it is too old, then it will only stress you. If you actually like this guy and he turns you on, then its nobody else's business. The real question comes whether you want to have some sex with him or something more than that. Because usually, NOT always, older guys look into younger guys just for sex. But this is not always the case since I have had a realtionship with an older guy and I am currently with someone older for a year now. And I am 22 and he is 53 but we are very fine, happy and in love.

If you're already considering the possibility of having sex with him.Then in your mind NO he isn't too old for you.Don't worry about what other people think about age gaps or differences.After all this is YOUR life,choice,&body if having sex with him is going to make you happy then go for it.Like someone above already said age is nothing but a number.And high numbers just mean MORE experience...

He sounds like a horny old man. Your too young to be with someone that old. Since your only 19 I say 30 should be the oldest you go. But in a couple years you might want to experiment with a little order. Go with what ever feel right and you will know you made the right choice....

How un-cool. Why don't you try someone younger. Younger guy is much better than a 51yrs old man. (a friend told me)
Tooo old, if you really want this guy then build a time machine to go back when he was young then you can do what ever you want. Until then ...don't do it..think before the action.

If you two want it, and you are both respectful of each other's wishes, then go for it. I'm 18 and have a great friend and buddy that is 56. We have great times because we care and respect each other.

I think it's cool, as long as you are being honest with each other.
I'm 44 and have been single for a couple of years now. In that time I've dated men from 19-35.
Physical attraction AND romantic interest are determined by a lot of factors and age is only one of them.

Depends on your preferences. If you really like him go for it. I personally wouldn't go more than 5 years older or younger, but true love can change anythng though
